Angelita Villanueva Obituary
Angelita Villanueva, 77, was born in 1936 and went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2013 in Brownsville, Texas.
Ms. Angelita is a well known and respected political activist. She is well loved by her family and friends.
Angelita is preceded in death by her parents, Maria Margarita Rocha Rangel, Eulalio Villanueva, and Baldomero Rangel, and 2 siblings.
She is survived by her children, Esmeralda Villanueva and Luciano Lerma Jr. (Virginia); her grandchildren, Christopher, Sebastian, Vincent, Amaris, Nathaniel, Isabella, Ivana, Alexandra, and Tatiana; 2 great grandchildren; 8 siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Delta Funeral Directors Chapel.
Mass of resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church.
Interment will follow to Buena Vista Cemetery.
