David Gabois Alvarez

David G. Alvarez, 63, born September 14, 1953 in Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2016 at his residence. He is now in the loving arms of his parents Roman and Cecilia G. Alvarez. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Gaston and Richard Alvarez. David is survived by Karen Langan Alvarez, his daughter, Erika Jane Alvarez D.D.S., and son, David Blake Alvarez. He is survived by his brother, George Alvarez (Belen) of Garland, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He never met a stranger that he did not befriend. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, the love of which instilled in his children. He was proud to recently celebrate the graduation of his daughter and the grand opening of his son's Taxidermy business which they had built side by side.
He graduated from Brownsville High School in 1971. David was the founder and business owner of D.A. Electrical and Contracting serving the Rio Grande Valley, Mexico, and beyond from 1976 to present.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Delta Chapel.
