Guadalupe Lara Obituary

Guadalupe G. Lara, 80 years old, ascended to the Lord's presence on June 1, 2019. She was born in Brownsville, TX to Severo Galvan & Concepcion Guerrero-Galvan on May 14, 1939.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Manuel, Teodoro and Tiburcio and 1 sister, Rosa; also her son, Baby (Manuel) and daughter Belinda.

Lupita is survived by her daughters, Norma Linda Garza (+Benigno), Maria Magdalena Atkinson, Amelia Castro (Rudy), Criselda Posada (Sissi) & Alma Carrillo (Jacobo). She is also survived by 3 sisters, Jesusa, Carlota & Maria and 1  brother, Severo; her 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and I great-great grandchild; and numerous nephews and nieces. She loved her family. She was very generous. Lupita liked to sing, liked las maquinitas and lottery tickets. She was spoiled by all her daughters. She was one of a kind.
