Jacoba Valdez Shepherd

Jacoba Valdez (Joby) Shepherd, 92, was called to the Lord on April 18, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Jacoba was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earnest Lee Shepherd, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her children, Juanita (Juan) Gonzalez, Doris Mae Gonzalez, Earnest L. (Margie) Shepherd Jr., Norma Jean (Joe) Marquez; her siblings, Elodia Moreno and Luis Valdez; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am today, April 21, 2017 at Christ the King. Followed by burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Domingo G., Ricardo G., Earnest W., Jose G., Joe Elvis M., and Jose M. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny G. and Brian S.
