Jorge E. Tovar

Jorge E. Tovar, 54, went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 10, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his wife, Amelia Flores; his daughter, Kristina Pena; his sons, Jorge E. Tovar Jr., Jacob Tovar, Jason Tovar, James Tovar, J.P. Pena, and Paul Pena; his mother, Francisca Salazar; his sisters, Dolores Ruiz, Lupita (Mario) Gutierrez, Sandra Salazar, Adriana Salazar (Daniel) Gonzalez, and Marisela Salazar (George) Alcoser; his brothers, Juan Tovar (Carmen) and Robert Salazar (Yolanda); and his 14 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday October 11, 2013 at Delta Funeral Directors Chapel.

Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday October 12, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Interment will follow to Guillen Community Cemetery.
