Juan Francisco Contreras

Juan Francisco Contreras, 68, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and numerous siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Maria A. Contreras; his children, Santa E. Contreras and Jose Guadalupe Contreras; his siblings, Graciela (Amelio) Villagran and Roberto Contreras, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Delta Funeral Directors Chapel. 

Funeral services will continue at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Funerales Escobedo-Zerimar in Matamoros.  Mass of resurrection will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Cathedral Nuestra Senora De Refugio. 

Burial will follow at Panteon San Joaquin.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. Manjula Raguthu, Surgical Unit and ICU 2nd floor at Valley Regional Medical Center, and the staff at La Cadenita Adult Day Care.
