Martha P Flores

Martha P. Flores, 88, of Brownsville, Texas went to be with our Lord on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Martha was born in San Benito, Texas on March 3, 1933, to Rosendo Cerda Plata and Maria Del Pilar Delgado.  She was a loving, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt.  She loved gardening and would spend a lot of her afternoons outside admiring her garden.  She also loved to listen to Religious music.  She will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Flores Jr., her son, Jaime Flores, her parents, Rosendo Cerda Plata and Maria Del Pilar Delgado; her brothers, Rosendo, Alfonso, Agapito, and Jose Plata, and her sister, Eugenia Plata.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Manuel Flores Jr., Roberto Flores (Norma), David Flores (Ana Maria), and Rolando Flores Sr. (+Eloisa); her grandchildren: Clarissa Flores (Alam Bandala), Rolando Flores Jr. (Cali), David Sebastian Flores, Gonzalo Manuel Flores, Daniela Flores, Fatima Lourdes Flores and one great granddaughter, Alaisha Bandala and several nieces and nephews who she loved very much.

Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the rosary at 5:00 pm at the Delta Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Holy Family Church followed by burial at Guillen Community Cemetery.
