Richard Lara Obituary

Richard M. Lara, 45, was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, entrepreneur, friend to many, and most importantly a man of God. He prided himself on loving and worshiping the Lord. His greatest gift from God was his family and he would do anything to help and support them. Richard was the owner of Structure Wire and served countless business with their alarm services and video monitoring in the state of Texas. He always treated his clients with respect and made them feel like they were family. He was never too busy to make time to answer their calls or questions. Richard loved spending time with his family. One of his favorite hobbies was fishing and he never passed up and opportunity to take his sons out fishing or to meet his brothers out at the pier. He was also a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan and loved watching the games. Richard was most proud about being a servant to God. He had a fierce passion and love of the Lord and was always sharing his love with others. You would often find him reading his bible or listening to worship music with his wife Laura and children. He organized the Harvest Christian Festival last year in Brownsville even in the midst of the Pandemic he held on to his faith and was more than determined to spread the gospel with others.

2 Corinthians 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:"
